I am a midwest mama that learned the hard way that running a business and being a present mom is not easy.
I started my first photography business in 2017, and I was thriving. But after having my first daughter in 2021, everything changed. I felt stuck and anxious and I essentially ran my business into the ground.
Eventually I figured out that the business I built was no longer aligned with the life I now envisioned. I wanted business that allowed me to be fully present with my girl. a life-first business. So I went back to the drawing board, several times.
I finally figured out that even though photography didn’t work out as a life-long career for me, I could take my success in building that brand and use that knowledge to help other moms build life-first businesses, too.
